Actor, writer. Born June 17, 1963 in Logansport, Indiana. The son of a career diplomat, Kinnear graduated from the University of Arizona in 1986. He got his big break in Hollywood as the first host of E! Television’s popular Talk Soup for which he won an Emmy Award in 1994.In 1997, Kinnear was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in As Good as It Gets. His big-screen career has primarily consisted of supporting roles, including work in such films as Nurse Betty, Someone Like You and the animated movie Robots.
Kinnear married Helen Labdon in 1999. Their have a daughter, Lily.
